Britney: Behind the Music

Recently a small check trickled in from NY. The payment was for the use of my song “Here Tonight” (from Next Door To Nowhere) in VH1’s Britney: Behind the Music. I catch a lot of the Behind the Music specials, in fact I think I’ve seen most, but somehow I managed to miss this one. I’ll keep an eye out and see if I can hear a few strains from that lonely acoustic number recorded several years ago. Perhaps more interesting was that part of the proceeds were from the use of another song of mine, “Needle In The Hay” (from Good Luck Stranger), by VH1 for a show called Centerfold Babylon. Going on the title alone, this one sounds like something I’d be very interested in checking out. In fact, I wonder how I could have missed something like this the first time around. I’ll be keeping an eye out for this one, too.
