"Ace of
Spades" cover wins +Expensive Microphone+ from Shure "Musical
Roots" contest
The acoustic version I recorded (with Chris Buessem)
of Motorhead's classic "Ace of Spades" makes the finalist list
at
Shure microphone's "Musical Roots" contest.
Recorded at Chris's studio, this version of "Ace
of Spades" is a fleshed out take of the
version I performed on the solo/acoustic Belgian and Dutch tour last year.
For our trouble, Shure Microphones is kind enough to cough up a $500 condenser
microphone. Wow! Easily the most expensive piece of equipment I (will
soon) own. Thanks Lemmy!
